I tried some new highspeed photography ideas and made some milk drop collisions. As milk has different viscosity and surface tension, it behaves totally different in the drop collisions, than water does. The little splashes at the outer boarder of the corona are much finer and I like the entire shape much better. I tried some different types of collisions and made some experiments with the lighting. Though I am not totally happy with the results, I really like this shot. To define the shape more clearly, I added red food dye into the drops. The background is not as nice as I hoped, but I just received a nice background board of white acrylic glass. I will try some more with this new background and post some updates soon.
